Who I am

This website, beinux.com, is run by Inji Alasttal, a UX designer and researcher working under the name Beinux, based in Fontaine-l’Évêque, Belgium. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this website.

What I collect and why

When you contact me. I collect what you enter in the form:
your name, email address, company, phone number (if you give it) and your message. I use it only to reply to you, prepare our call and, if we work together, deliver the service.
Legal basis: steps you ask for before a contract, then the contract itself.

When you book a discovery call.
Bookings are handled by Calendly. It stores your name, email address and the time you chose, under its own privacy policy.

When you visit the site.
If you accept analytics cookies, I use [Google Analytics] to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages they read. It does not tell me who you are. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

When you leave a comment. I collect the name, email address and comment you enter, plus your IP address, to fight spam. [Delete this paragraph if comments are turned off.]

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies it needs to work, plus analytics cookies if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Details are in the [Cookie Policy].

WhatsApp and embedded content

If you click the WhatsApp button, you leave this site, and WhatsApp (Meta) processes your data under its own privacy policy. Videos or other content embedded from other websites behave as if you visited those websites, and they may collect data about you.

Who I share your data with

I do not sell your data or use it for advertising. I share it only with the services that run this website and my work:
my web host (Bluehost), [booking tool], [email provider] and Google Analytics, if you accepted it. Some of these providers are based outside the European Union. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by the safeguards they offer, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long I keep it

  • Messages and call requests: up to [2 months] after our last contact, unless we start working together.
  • Client data: for the duration of the project, then for as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
  • Analytics data: [14 months].

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how I use it, or to send it to you in a reusable format. Write to contact@beinux.com and I will reply within one month.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
